The dates for our next volunteer induction and assessment are:
Tuesday 19th September, 17:30 – 19:30 – Volunteer Induction and Assessment
Tuesday 3rd October, 17:30 – 19:30 – Volunteer Safeguarding Session
These sessions are a compulsory part of our safer recruitment process for anyone interested in a child or family facing role so we can safely match you to a project, and will be a chance to get to know you a little better and will involve a variety of informal (and hopefully fun!) reflective and scenario-based activities. We sadly can’t get you started on a project until you’ve completed these sessions.
Please note these sessions take place every couple of months. If you are interested in volunteering with us, the first step is to complete an application form as soon as possible to give us enough time to complete our initial checks before inviting you along. You will then receive a confirmation email with the full details for the induction and training sessions.
